Payment methods for the application for a Mineral Title

Effective immediately, Direct Deposit facilities for the payment of application fees for a new mineral title application will no longer be available.

Effective immediately, Direct Deposit facilities for the payment of application fees for a new mineral title application will no longer be available.

As the Department is unable to receipt Direct Deposits on the day of payment due to limitations with the Government Accounting System, this subsequently prevents an application from being entered into the system that day resulting in areas incorrectly displaying as available on STRIKE the following day.

This change relates to NEW applications for a mineral title only.

Clients can still utilise this facility for the payment of anything other than an application fee for a mineral title or the advertising fees that accompany an application.
