Applications extended – Funding available for NT resource exploration
The Northern Territory (NT) Government is committed to the development of the NT by providing exploration opportunities to assist in unlocking the Territory’s untapped resources.
The Geophysics and Drilling Collaborations program (GDC) is part of the CORE (Creating Opportunities for Resource Exploration) initiative, which provides collaborative funding for diamond drilling and geophysical programs in areas of the NT where there is a lack of geological information.
The program funds 50% or up to $100,000 for innovative drilling and geophysics projects that address gaps in the critical understanding of the geology of the NT. The initiative shares this risk with explorers, supports projects that may lead to exploration success and ensures the data is made available to the wider geological community.
Submission of applications for Round 10 (2017-18) is now extended to COB Monday 8 May 2017.
