AZRI information booklet released

The Department of Primary Industry and Resources has released an information booklet as part of the Arid Zone Research Institute’s (AZRI) 50th birthday celebration.

The eight page booklet covers the colourful history of the research institute in Central Australia, and the current operations of the facility. The design includes a collaborative site map and a historical timeline.

AZRI houses the Central Australian staff of the Department of Primary Industry and Resources, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Department of Tourism and Culture, the Department of Education’s Vocational Education Training Rural Operations program
and the Alice Springs Mounted Police Unit.

Over 60 people, including past and current staff and industry representatives, celebrated the research facility’s milestone on Friday 16 November 2018.
