Free online course for BOM Climate Outlook Service

The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has released a new free online course to aid in the understanding of their Climate Outlook service. The training is ideal for decision-makers in climate-sensitive industries such as farmers, agronomists and resource managers, and can be completed on an individually or in a workshop.

The course covers topics such as Australia's climate variability, the impact of climate drivers such as the El Niño–Southern Oscillation (ENSO) and the Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD) in Australia and how to interpret the Bureau's climate outlook maps.
