Cows sitting around hay bailsFutureBeef supports sustainable and profitable productivity gains for northern beef producers. It is an ongoing partnership of the Northern Territory Government (the former Department of Primary Industry and Resources, now the Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade) with the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, Western Australia Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development and Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA).

FutureBeef aims to be a one-stop shop for beef information, using webpages, eBulletins, webinars and social media. From the latest practical tools to new scientific insights, FutureBeef provides relevant and timely advice with a particular focus on supporting beef producers and livestock advisors.

The FutureBeef website already features over 1,000 pages of content, and research findings in:

  • animal health and welfare
  • animal production
  • gazing land management
  • people and business.
